What is your destiny; heaven or hell?

God, our owner, creator and THE ONE that makes the rules, has proclaimed in His owners manual, the Bible, that all men are sinners and bound for eternal death in outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth and flame of fire, forever and ever! This is not a “resort” one will wish to spend time at. See Romans 3:9-10; Romans 3:23; Romans 6:23; Matthew 22:18; and Revelation 21:8 for a biblical glimpse of this. Is there an alternative?

God has provided the answer. Consider the following:

Now I make known unto you brethren, the gospel which I preached unto you, which also you received, wherein also ye stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold fast the word which I preached unto you, except you believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which also I received: that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that he was buried; and that he hath been raised on the third day according to the scriptures; (1 Corinthians 15:1-4)

Make note of one thing here, it is THE gospel, by Which you are saved. There is a singularity here. It signifies the ONE way of salvation. ONE way! Further, please note that belief in the above is the key. There is no other way to avoid the Lake of Fire!

In the Book of John this is confirmed.

Jesus said unto him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life: no one comes unto the Father, but by me (John 14:6)

He that believes on him is not judged: he that believes not has been judged already, because he has not believed on the name of the only begotten Son of God (John 3:18)

Salvation, a gift from God:

God’s word further informs us that it our salvation is by grace THROUGH faith.

—for by grace have ye been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God (Ephesians 2:8)

In Galatians we are warned about false teachers who will pervert the gospel of Christ. (Galatians 1:7) As we have seen the Bible clearly states that salvation is by faith, which is belief in Jesus Christ and His finished work for our salvation.

The destiny of these false teachers is to be judged anathema, damned:

But though we, or an angel from heaven, should preach unto you any gospel other than that which we preached unto you, let him be anathema. As we have said before, so say I now again, if any man preaches unto you any gospel other than that which ye received, let him be anathema. (Galatians 1:8-9)

What has this to do with the Roman church?

The scriptures quoted above are God’s words. To write something that contradicts them, is to accuse God of lying. This is not something you would like to be a party to, is it? Rome’s catechism contradicts these words as we will see on the next page.

Rome defames God:

Here is how, in this one case, the Roman Catechism defames God inferring that He lied in His revelation of His will in the word of God.

Canon 1084:
—Christ now acts through the sacraments he instituted to communicate his grace—

Canon 1127:
—the sacraments confer the grace that they signify.

Please refer back to the front of this paper. Notice what God says; “for by grace you are saved through faith!! In the Greek of the original manuscripts faith and belief are the same word. Notice that it is the GOSPEL in which we believe that saves us. The sacraments DO NOT confer grace, God confers it through our faith in the atoning work of Christ on the cross, His burial and His resurrection.

Canon 1086:
—But he also willed that the work of salvation which they preached should be set in train through the sacrifice and sacraments,

Canon 1129:
The Church affirms that for believers the sacraments of the New Covenant are necessary for salvation—

These canons are particularly repugnant! When you squeeze past the prevarica-tion and double talk, what is said is that one is saved by the sacraments and not faith in the gospel! Let me repeat the quote from Galatians on page 1:

But though we, or an angel from heaven, should preach unto you any gospel other than that which we preached unto you, let him be anathema. As we have said before, so say I now again, if any man preaches unto you any gospel other than that which ye received, let him be anathema. (Galatians 1:8-9)

Damned!

Those that teach the Roman doctrine of the sacraments and those that put their faith in them are damned, anathema! If you are one of these remember damna-tion means eternal suffering in outer darkness, in the Lake of Fire. Is this what you want? No —?

Repent and believe!

  • Agree with God that you are a sinner, (Romans 3:10-12; Romans 3:23)
  • Agree with God that the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23)
  • Agree with God that Christ died for your sins, was buried and rose to life again (1 Corinthians 15:1-4)
  • Repent from your own way and turn to God through Christ. Believe that He, Christ, is your Lord and Savior. (Romans 10:9-11; Romans 10:13)
  • If you believe all this in your heart you are saved. (Romans 10:9)
  • Understand that when you so believe you are born again, born of the Holy Spirit who dwells in you forever more. You are a child of God, born of God (John 1:12-13)
  • As a child of God you require spiritual food that can only be obtained through study of the scriptures. You need to seek out a bible believing/teaching church and fellowship there so that you can grow in grace.
  • As a child of God you need to fellowship with other believers in such a church by serving in the capacity that Christ has called you to. All of us have spiritual gifts and we need to use them for Christ’s work on the earth.

As to the church of Rome:

Come ye out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, (2 Corinthians 6:17)
